First on the list we have the glasses from Sorgo. I’m a sucker for glasses of this style, and as always Sorgo nails it out of the park with their price and quality. You simply can’t go wrong if you’re lookin’ for a pair of spectacles.
Next up we have the vest from F.A.T. The moment I saw this I had a feeling it was going to fit the Aesthetic body. It’s big, it’s fluffy, and well..the store name is FAT! It’s a lovely thing, very simple..fits incredibly. I can see this being someone that would fit most bodies, they even have a female version. For a modern flair, or even fantasy, very worth it.
Lastly are the pants. They are from K, which I said many things about in my previous blog post. Simple, plain pants with a texture change belt. They’re a bit loose in the crotch area, but they are called “Relaxed Trousers” so I expect as much. They fit like a glove, well..around the waist isn’t perfect, but good enough. If you’re looking for some good pants for the Aesthetic body I would HIGHLY recommend checking out their main store.
Go and check out TMD, tons of nice stuff to scoop up.
I went out and about in search for some snazzy stuff, and snazzy stuff I found. I tried a demo over at TMD of some pants from a store called K, and to my surprise they fit! From what I could tell most of the pants at the main store fit the Aesthetic body as well, the jackets/shirts…not so much. The overcoat does fairly nicely though, as you can see. The pants I have zero problems with, fit great, great style. The coat on the other hand…maaaaan listen. I’m not the biggest fan of denim jackets, unless they have a MULTITUDE of badass metal band patches all over them. There is a “no inner shirt” version, but it doesn’t work with the Aesthetic body cause of those poppin’ pecs. It would be nice to see this be scripted to hide the denim part and the t-shirt separately, or at least texture change. To me some of the other coat colors they had just look absurd with a bright blue jean jacket underneath. Ah well, still, it’s a nice jacket and it’s something a bit different to wear.
First up we got the watch from Mandala. Now…back in the day…and I mean way back, I used to make fun of people who wore watches on Second Life. I have become..the watch wearer, and I’m very happy about that. It’s a beautiful, detailed bit of fashion you can slap on your wrist. The hands actually work too, you can set a specific time on the HUD. The face of the watch can be changed, comes with a few different colors, as well as the backing has a few different textures. It comes with a cuff version as well which is pretty much a big leather wristband with a watch on it. Not the biggest fan of that version, but with the right outfit on I’m sure it will look just as cool.
Secondly we got the shoes from Deadwool. They are..very spiffy, to keep it simple. Being a big fan of wingtip style shoes, when I saw these I just had to get them. These would go good with any fancy or somewhat casual outfit you might wanna slip into. Nothing to complain about, decent price, detail is great, and they look sleek as hell.
Also, mustaches rock!
[ skin ] Aeros – Arrow
[ body ] Niramyth – Aesthetic Body
[ hair ] Deadwool – Undercut
[ mustache ] Deadwool – Full Beard
[ goatee] Caligula – Facial Hair Fatpack
[ shirt ] The Sanguine Tree – Half Button Shirt B&W
I’ve always wanted a good afro on SL. It seems to be the one hair style that none of the popular places really do. I came across this one from Caligula, they make a ton of stuff for the Aesthetic body. This hair is labeled to be specifically for the body which I found a lil strange. Either way, it’s the best afro I’ve been able to find on SL so far. The price on it is a lil steep for only getting two colors though at 299 lindens. You could always go with the big flexi poof ball afro..that one is a classic. If you want to make a proper Bob Ross avatar then I’d say go with this one, just make sure to keep that lil fro happy.
Next up we got the gloves from GMan. It confused me at first because when I put them on they were so tiny. like they were fitted for a regular SL av and not Aesthetic despite it being advertised for the body. With a lil adjusting they do fit great, can’t complain about the quality of them either. They come with a brown version, and versions with straps on the wrists. Definitely not bad for the price of 100 lindens.
