Good full plate armor is hard to come by. I’ve been hunting for an adjustable set for quite some time. I knew of Silhouette Warfare from a while ago..but never bothered to buy anything because it’s so damn expensive. Well..my desire for armor finally broke me down to snag something from them.
This armor is kind of..old school, being sculpty and not mesh. Now..that’s really not a bad thing. Sure, it was incredibly annoying to adjust piece by piece..but I could actually fit it fairly decently to the Aesthetic body. Don’t expect to buy this and have it fit right away. It took me a lot of tweaking, and it still isn’t perfect in some areas.
Still, it looks great, the details are awesome for it being sculpty, damn near better than some of the rigged mesh stuff I’ve seen. The price is…fairly high, so I can’t recommend buying it unless you’re really hungry for some armor, and you want to put the time in to adjust it.
First on the menu we got the t-shirt from L&B. Fitted for the Niramyth Aesthetic body as always, can’t complain there. Comes with different print options, color options, t-shirt sleeve version, muscle shirt version, tucked, and untucked. Lots of options. If you’re using Aesthetic..just go and pick this shirt up. ONE problem though, there’s no plain white or gray versions of the shirt.
NEXT UP! The pants. Now the pants we hsithasithave here are NOT made for the body, and they are from Deadwool. A store that..well..tickles my pickle with every new release. They make some amazing stuff. The quality on the jeans are top notch, they come in different sizes, fitted, and two different belts. They look good on this body, and I’m sure any other body.
The glasses are from Redgrave. They are nice, but in this pic I think the light is a bit..too much. They have the materials enabled so when you crank your settings up they look all shiny and cool. Didn’t translate too well in this picture. You get black, gold, and silver frames..different lens colors..all kinds of stuff.
I’m on a hunt, a hunt for anything that works with the Niramyth Aesthetic body. A hunt so I can aid my fellow big bodied brethren that want some damn fine swag to wear. These things aren’t made for the body, but they’ll fit…hopefully.
First off we have the hoodie which is from Swagga. I’m surprised this one fit actually. It seems if its big enough AND fitted mesh it can fit fairly well. Good store, they have a lot of other stuff that MIGHT work, but haven’t really checked to deeply. Either way, it’s a damn good hoodie despite some of the details being a bit weak. For the Aesthetic body so far I’d say it’s the best hoodie out there, and it has texture change with grey and red color options.
Secondly we have the pants and boots. They’re from Hoorenbeek, and let me tell you something. Hoorenbeek stuff is good for the Aesthetic body or most likely any big bulky body because the sizes are SO BIG. The large size is huuuge, I used to always use a medium size on my big SL body cause they’re that big. The pants are quite nice, they come with a lot of options. Boot version, different belts, different waist heights. The boots go very well with a lot of their boot tucked pants or most likely ANY boot tucked pants. HOWEVER! One thing I have noticed with Hoorenbeek pants is that the crotch pokes out quite a bit. Not sure why that is, in pictures it doesn’t matter that much, but in regular standing animations it can look….goofy. Still, very stellar quality and some of the best you can get to fit the body right now.
Yooo, another new look…kind of…not so different really. Just a bit of an older, darker skin from Aeros that I wanted to check on the Aesthetic body. Works good! I mean look at the shine with the lighting settings cranked up, daymn. There’s always a thing where I made a new look and I want to make a roleplaying character out of it. It’s kind of annoying, I don’t want a million characters like I usually end up doing on every game ever created. Bit of a habit I guess, maybe I would just use this look to replace my other big bad dark skinned bearded one.
Either way, the arm armor is from a place called LAB737, specifically from The Secret Affair event. The detail on it is sick, some of the best I’ve ever seen. Gorgeous texture quality and edges so sharp you can cut an apple on them. It’s obviously kind of Roman-era looking, but I can see this also fitting a Mad Max type setting as well. There’s also neck and leg armor at The Fantasy Collective from them that matches. Go and check it out for reals.
PFC, how lovely you be. The arm and leg armor is from the Champion set. I’d say it’s the best detailed armored I’ve seen so far. It’s detailed all the way down to those tiny lil delicious grapes, can’t go wrong with that. The belt, which I didn’t wear for this outfit, comes with rigged mesh and non-rigged which is how EVERY store should do armor. Might cost a bit more to upload two versions (I think?)..but goddamn it’s nice.
The belt is from a store called Ravensoul. They have a nice selection of new mesh stuff and older sculpty outfits. Now you might ask,”But, Sithas…mesh is the best right? RIGHT?!” Well, kind of…but sometimes no. I’ve found with certain types of armor that older stuff is much easier to adjust and fit on different kinds of bodies. Also, you don’t run the risk of it being rigged. I’m always happy to see stores still having old style gear around, still looks damn good too. Flexi loincloths do look a bit silly sometimes but…hey…they work!
